Flow Table
Description
The Flow Table is a laboratory testing apparatus used to evaluate the flowability and consistency of fresh cement mortar and other suitable cement-based mixes. It provides a controlled method for observing how a prepared sample spreads when subjected to a standardized mechanical movement.
The apparatus consists of a rigid flow table, sample mould, and operating mechanism designed to produce consistent table movements. The resulting spread of the mortar can be measured and used to assess workability and compare the consistency of different mixes.
The Flow Table is suitable for cement and concrete laboratories, civil engineering colleges, construction quality-control facilities, research centers, and material testing laboratories. Its straightforward operation and durable construction make it convenient for routine workability testing, mix development, and educational demonstrations.
