Measuring Instrumentation:

Consists of Digital Display Indicators for measuring various parameters manually &

having facility to interface with the computer along with suitable software for

computerized measurement.

Air Flow Measurement: Air Rate Indicator with Differential Pressure Transducer

connected across an orifice meter with suitable air drum of 250 to 300 times of the swept volume (Approx.)

Fuel Measurement: Fuel Rate Indicator with Optical sensor/ Load Cell Type and 5 -

8- liter capacity fuel tanks.

Torque Measurement: Torque Indicator with Load cell strain gauge.

Temperature Measurement: Digital Temperature Indicator with Thermoplastic.

Speed Measurement: Speed Indicator and Proximity-sensor

Combustion Pressure Measurement: Piezo Electric,Range 0-5000 PSI

Crank Angle Measurement- Rotary Encoder, 360 PPR

Pre Calibrated Diesel Injectors for 180 bar to 220 bar will be provided

Note:

The unit will be having individual display unit for each parameter, so that the

readings can be -taken manually and calculated for UG level. (Performance Test)

The same will be used for research purpose using PC and suitable user-friendly Lab View

based software (Performance and Combustion Analysis)

b. Facility for Exhaust Gas removal.

c. Electric Supply 230 V, 50 Hz, 1 Ph.

d. Fuel (Diesel/ Petrol) for Demonstration of the Test Rig- (10 lts Appx.)

e. Platform to place the Engine Test Rig to be prepared by the customer and drawing and

guidelines will be furnished by us.
